      Dustin Soubeih shot to death in Indianapolis, Jerry Fallen arrested

      Indianapolis was rocked by tragedy when Dustin Wesley Soubeih, a 39-year-old resident of Whiteland, Indiana, lost his life in a shooting incident on the evening of Monday, April 1, 2024, in the 1300 block of Kappes Street. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department swiftly responded to the scene following reports of gunfire.

      Upon arrival, officers discovered Dustin Soubeih outside, bearing injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Despite the valiant efforts of emergency responders, Soubeih tragically succumbed to his injuries. Originally from Indianapolis, Soubeih was deeply involved in his community and had attended Perry Meridian High School. He was employed at Henry Street Steel, where he contributed his talents and dedication.

      The suspect, identified as Jerry Fallen, 63 years old, was apprehended by detectives from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Initial investigations suggest that a dispute may have escalated into the tragic shooting incident. Despite extensive efforts, the suspect was not located at the scene but was later found and detained by IMPD officers on the 1000 block of North Traub Avenue.

      While Fallen is being held on suspicion of murder, it’s essential to remember that an accusation does not equate to guilt. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will determine the final charges based on the evidence presented.
