      Tragedy struck late Sunday night in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, as a swiftly escalating argument culminated in a shooting, resulting in the loss of one life and leaving two others injured. According to Uniontown Police Department records, the incident unfolded around 10 p.m. at the Something Different restaurant along Austin Street.

      Lt. Tom Kolencik of the Uniontown Police Department revealed that the altercation originated within the confines of the restaurant. Following the altercation, which quickly spiraled out of control, the proprietor intervened, instructing the involved parties to leave. However, the situation escalated further as they exited the establishment.

      Eyewitnesses reported that once outside, Andrew Howard brandished a firearm and discharged multiple rounds, unleashing chaos and tragedy upon the unsuspecting gathering. Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene, discovering a woman with a gunshot wound to her torso.

      Tragically, despite their best efforts, the victim, identified as 32-year-old Shaquisa Sims from Uniontown, could not be saved. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival, leaving a community in mourning and loved ones grappling with incomprehensible loss.

      In addition to Sims, another woman and Andrew Howard also sustained gunshot wounds during the altercation. Howard, whose actions precipitated this devastating chain of events, was subsequently transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for further medical treatment, as confirmed by law enforcement authorities.
